Conference - 10 Most Common Problems in Commercial Contracts

On 5^th June, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and law firm CMS Belgrade welcomed more than 100 participants at a joint event in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, in Terazije. After the introductory presentation, attorneys from the CMS Belgrade spoke about the most common problems in commercial contracts, their prevention and the techniques of their effective resolving.  Attorneys Raško Radovanović, Ivana Blagojević and Srđan Janković drew particular attention to the issues of interest, damages, taxes and protection of competition rights.

Finally, Secretary of the Permanent Arbitration at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia Ivana Jakovljević, held a successful presentation on the advantages of arbitration in comparison with standard court procedure. Also, she presented the work of the Permanent Arbitration, the oldest arbitration institution in the region that has been successfully administering international and domestic arbitration disputes for more than 70 years.
